Margaret Joyce Cooper (later Badcock, 18 April 1909 – 22 July 2002) was a British swimmer who competed in the 1928 Summer Olympics and 1932 Summer Olympics.

Biography

She was born in Ceylon and died in Chichester. She was married with British rower John Badcock.

In the 1928 Olympics she won the silver medal in the 4×100 m freestyle relay event and bronze medals in the 100 m freestyle event and 100 m backstroke event.

Four years later she won a bronze medal in the 4×100 m freestyle relay event and was fourth in the 400 m freestyle event and sixth in the 100 m backstroke event. She also was fourth in her semifinal of 100 m freestyle competition and did not advance.
